Who We Are

Our Identity

We began in the fall of 2008 with a small group of leaders and a growing excitement about expanding God's work into the outlying parts of the Inland Empire. God has blessed our ministry, and is at work in exciting ways to make Jesus known and treasured among the people of the Inland Empire communities. Resolved Bible Church is a brand new faith community forming in the Ontario, Chino, Corona (Eastvale) and Mira Loma communities.

Our deepest desire is to bring glory to God through lives changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a church on a mission to call all people to full devotion to Jesus Christ. God is our supreme treasure and we exist to glorify Him above all things. We strive to connect people with Jesus Christ for their joy and the glory of God.

[ Vision ]
Seeking to build a gospel-centered and gospel-proclaiming body that makes disciples and loves and serves the community around us.

[ Mission Statement ]  To create an authentic Christian community that effectively reaches out to unchurched people in love, acceptance, and forgiveness so that they too may experience the joy of salvation, a purposeful life of discipleship and active ministry for the glory of God.

[ Goals and Purpose ]
To equip believers to greater faithfulness to Jesus Christ, to proclaim the gospel to unbelievers, to affirm the Bible’s authority over the life of every person, and for growth and accountability.

Getting Connected

Getting connected at Resolved Bible Church is about relationships that get beneath the surface. Those kinds of relationship won’t come simply by attending worship services. They take time. As part of our mission to build a gospel centered community, the ministries of Resolved Bible Church serve members and guests from a variety of age groups and life circumstances One way to get connected is to join a fellowship group or Bible study!

What We Believe

* The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error. It is the supreme and final authority for all matters of Christian life and belief.

* There is one true and living God, who eternally exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are equal in every divine perfection and who execute distinct but harmonious offices in all the work of the Godhead. * Man was created by God in His own image, but through his sin incurred physical and spiritual death. As a result, all people are separated from God by their sin and are lost and without hope apart from salvation in Christ.

* The Gospel is the good news of God’s saving actions towards sinners through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, t he eternal son of God, took on human nature, lived a sinless life, and died a substitutionary death for sinners.

* Salvation is a free gift that comes only by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Anyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Jesus Christ and His death on their behalf receives forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life.

* The Holy Spirit works progressively to transform genuine believers more and more into the image of Christ. His work is carried on in our hearts through such appointed means as the study of Scripture, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. The Holy Spirit also empowers believers for Christian witness and service and gives gifts for the building up of the body of Christ, the church.

* The universal church, composed of genuine followers of Christ, exists to worship, serve, and glorify God. All members of the universal church are to be vitally committed members of a local church, where they receive pastoral care and the opportunity to employ their God-given gifts in His service.

* Jesus Christ will return to the earth, personally and visibly, to establish His kingdom in the new heavens and the new earth. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved to endless joy, living and reigning with Christ, and the lost to endless punishment away from the benevolent presence of God.

what is the Gospel?

Good news! You can be saved from your sin and its ultimate penalty! The word "gospel" simply means "good news," and that's exactly what it is. If you understand and believe it, the gospel is the best news that you will ever hear! It is this good news that gives you the ability to find, to know, and to love God, not to mention escaping your bondage to sin, and the ultimate penalty of that sin: eternal death and separation from God.

The following are the essential points of this good news that God graciously gives us in the Bible:

The one and only God who is holy made us in his image to know him (Gen. 1:26-28).

But we sinned and cut ourselves off from him (Gen. 3; Rom. 3:23).

In his great love, God became a man in Jesus, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross, thus fulfilling the law himself and taking on himself the punishment for the sins of all those who would ever turn from their sin and trust in him (John 1:14; Heb. 7:26; Rom. 3:21-26, 5:12-21).

He rose again from the dead, showing that God accepted Christ's sacrifice and that God's wrath against us had been exhausted (Acts 2:24, Rom. 4:25).

He now calls us to repent of our sins and trust in Christ alone for our forgiveness (Acts 17:30, John 1:12). If we repent of our sins and trust in Christ, we are born again into a new life, an eternal life with God (John 3:16).

He is gathering one new people to Himself among all those who submit to Christ as Lord (Matt. 16:15-19; Eph. 2:11-19).

HOW WILL YOU RESPOND?

Who does the Bible say Jesus is? The living God, the Holy One, the Savior, the only valid object of saving faith, the sovereign Lord, and the righteous Judge.

Who do you say Jesus is? That is the inescapable question. He alone can redeem you--free you from the power and penalty of sin. He alone can transform you, restore you to fellowship with God, and give your life eternal purpose.

Will you repent and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
